SUD and F35 Error

Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine

The Kenmore Elite HE3 is a washing machine by Kenmore. It is identical to the Whirlpool Duet.

My Kenmore Elite HE3 washer continuously getting SUD error when I start the washer, after clearing SUD error couple of times I am getting F35 error.

Please give some helpful suggestions for fixing this.

I am not positive this helped but I have done several loads of washing since I did this fix and have had no problems so far. Hope this worked.

The fix I did was to remove the bottom panel, 3 screws.

Removed the cleanout from the drain pump.

This had some lent and black muck in it.

The plug removed also comes apart. Two pieces just snap together.

I was able to completely clean it all out.

Hope this helps, and will be the fix.

The sud code means there is excess suds in the machine.

It may be due to the drain pump needs to be cleaned.
