What should I do with a newly bought, newly damaged MBR 13?

Hi everyone!

I just got a new Macbook Pro 13' retina display, early 2013. Less than a week after i got it, I tripped and broke the screen. I have been looking for displays to buy. But they all cost above 700$. Which is a bit more than half the price of the computer. I thought of selling the computer by parts and the adding a bit more to buy a new one. Would it be more advised to that, than buy a new screen? If not were I could get a good price for the screen, maybe one in mint condition?Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!
