Screen flickers grayish then back to normal?

if you can see by the video it flickers like its all highlighted for a lack of a better term. I bought this computer used and didn't have any of these issues that I noticed until I upgraded to mavericks. So i guess I am asking if anyone has seen this before and what could it be?? Stuck tracking pad bar, stuck key(s), bad logic board, inverter or god knows what else? Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to get my video to upload.
