My Fairphone has been fixed before and ever since the lens of my camera was dirty. Today I cleaned it, following assembly instructions on Fixit. However, my touchscreen fails so I can't use the phone anymore. Do you know what I might have done wrong in putting everything back together?

I also had problems with the digitizer after a day in wet conditions. After some hours on a heater it worked again, but only sporadic. So I disassembled it a little bit to get to the digitizer-plug and cleaned the plug.
When water has been in an electric device, the problem is not the water, its the salt, and that remains even after drying.
And with new moisture,even if its just a little bit from the air, makes an short circuit again.
So far, after cleaning the phone workes:).

Unfortunately I had to buy a new screen... Now it's perfect again but I hope you can solve it in a cheaper way. If you happen to live in Amsterdam, ask the Fixables in de Rijnstraat. These guys are great! Good luck.

allways make shure to fix the digitizer plug properly after replacing the motherboard!!!
Maybe consider Step 19 here: You have to hold the motherboard perpendicular to the dixplay unit and plug the digitizer plug.
