my device is getting off frequently and there is a variance in battery after that plugged out like some times it increases and some times suddenly there will be a drop in battery .... is this the prob with the battery or the software..... and for the regular use the device runs smoothly ..... but when i open a fb or other browsing sites the device gets off.... :(....plz help me out :( :(

Hi,
90% this is battery problem. Maybe when you start the browser the WiFi module increase consumption and this is a reason for shutting down. Unstable battery indicator also shows that the problem is into battery.
To be sure that this isn't a SW problem, you can do a factory reset first from the menu or from the Android System Recovery menu:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Password Lock/Hard Reset
!!!This will erase all your information. Do a backup first!
