Very high volume settings may cause noise from the speakers to be picked up by the microphone. This creates a sound loop that gets louder and louder until you disconnect the headset. As such, you should lower the volume of your headset by pressing the "volume down" button on the adapter.
Another source of the problem may come from someone else in your Xbox Live chat room. that person may be having feedback problems and is transmitting those sounds to all the people in the chat room. You should be able to see which person in the chat is transmitting the feedback; ask that person to lower the volume or unplug his or her microphone.
If you are still not sure what is causing the feedback, check out the troubleshooting page.

Its incorrect! That sound comes when you put the charger in thr controller and if you want to resolve it just buy batteries my friend!
When charging my controller it seems to be giving off a buzz. Unplugged charger, no noise says chat room and no indication of sound from my end. Plugged charger back in and immediate buzz. That's just my solution.

Thank you so much lol nothing else was working
This one actually works,
if you go into the Audio settings and turn the Mic Monitoring all the way down the buzzing will stop

This worked for me! Cheers.
I did it but I still hear it a little bit. Any help?
But people in the Xbox party can still hear it.
Are you using a wired headset. If so, neither turning down the volume nor turning off vibration will help it. You either need a headset that takes batteries. The controller and headset together are pulling more power than the usb is happy delivering. I have trouble shot this with many different combos, and that is the only solution I have found.

Guys look this is completely annoying, all this buzzing and everything. You can try to lower the volume on your adapter which will make the buzzing in your headset decrease but not go away completely. If you want the buzzing to go away for good then there is one downside of it. Go to Settings>Preferences>Vibration. Then turn the vibration off. It was very weird at first playing without vibration but you do get used to it which will end up in smooth and no buzzing gaming. Hope that helped!!

My friends mic makes a beep noise once in a while almost like a smoke detector, but he says he can’t hear it, my friends get annoyed about it, what do you think it is?

Some mics don’t work with Xbox brand controllers, my Power A controller worked fine with mics Xbox ones didn’t and they usually cost around $20 per controller. They are wired though.
