Replaced fan does"t run, neither does the original one

I swapped my fan for another, which didn't work (as a previous one I tried installing a few month ago). So I swapped it back for the old one. It didn't work either. I tried rebooting, resetting PRAM, and CMS, but nothing works. The problem can't be my mac, as the old fan was running moments ago, but why can't it work now ?

My mac is heating, I can't use it.

Please help.
