The Kindle Touch (D01200) is 4th generation of Kindle e-readers produced by Amazon. There is Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi/3G capability, all uploads are done by USB cable. It has 4 GB of storage and two months of battery life.

Why is the battery in the Kindle not charging?

I tried to charge the Kindle but the battery does not seem to be charging.

There is a possibility that your cable might not be working so try checking it on a different device. If the cable works then it might be a bad battery or a bad USB port. Check the troubleshooting page for more info on that.
