Two blinks - B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits.
IMPORTANT: After you repair the unit, you MUST clear the values on this diagnostic screen. These codes do not reset themselves after the fault is corrected, so if you don't clear them, you'll be seeing "old" fault codes the next time you enter this screen. Clearing is done by going into the service mode (display, channel, 5, volume plus, then power ). Press 8 and Enter, which returns everything to the factory preset condition.

Thanks, what do you think I should do. This tv is about 3years old, replace for about $600. I have one person to look at it for $100.
Is the clearing process for lg the same as sony?

Large % of power supply problems are capacitors loss of life from working voltage being underrated by mfg for planed obsolescence. Check for caps in the 470uf range (as many as 6 ) rated 16 volt....replace with 25v caps same uf.

Hello!
I just made a software update on my Philips 46pfl7007t/12 and now it wont start and I have the standbylight blinkning twice in a repeating pattern. What should I do? Seems odd this happened after the update, tv was working fine before.. Salestrick?
Mine starts working itself after sometime, but then again starts giving trouble

My Sony TV too had the same issue when I turned it on after one month holidays.
As per suggestion from my technician I turned it on and left the power on for more than 12 hours .then it started working...
