1 Why does my battery only last 30 minutes?
I've had this laptop for a few years now and it seems every time I use it off the charger the battery lasts less and less. What should I do?

After several years many batteries slowly lose their ability to hold a charge. Most likely it is easy to fix this simply by buying a new battery and replacing the old one.
In the mean time, turning down the screen brightness and keeping the number of running programs to a minimum should help make the most of your batteries potential.

I have the same problem. But the battery is less than a year old and was replaced by Dell for the same reason.
The battery life started going down after a few months. There is no reason anyone should sell a battery that unreliable.
