How do I replace the cabin air filter? The manual is lousy.

I have a 2010 Genesis sedan. The cabin air filter replace method described in the manual is NO HELP what so ever.

Is there anybody out here that can clue me in as to how to release the filter from the holder that contains it?

My solution was to just sell the car which I did less then a year later. I bought an Audi SQ5 to replace my V-8 powered Genesis, nice enough car but not nearly as nice as the Audi is.
