The on/off/screenshot/power off button is Stuck inside my iPod

I dropped my iPod for a small height and the on/off/power off/screenshot button got pushed into the iPod. It's so deep in that I can't get it out and now I have to wait for it to turn off. Which is a low because now I'm using up 2x the battery power than before! Please help!
