I have a macbook pro 15" 2015 model with an Intel iris pro gpu, which is falling short of my gaming needs. I understand that the gpu is soldered to the logic board and cannot be replaced. Would it be possible to replace the logic board completely with a better gpu installed? If so, how costly would it be?

You could in theory replace it with a GT750m equipped logic board but it would be easier (and probably cheaper) to sell your machine add some money and purchase the model with GT650m or GT750m, you would most likely have to add less money than the cost of a new logic board,.
