replaced upper compoent cable, lightning connector assembly wont work

Hello IV done afew repairs of various iPhones for myself and my family without any issues

I replaced the upper component cable in a iPhone 5c the repair whent well following the ifixit guide after putting it back together the microphone wont work and it can't be detected on charge

Which are on the same piece but what baffles me is I didn't really even touch that part during disassembly. I only had to take off the lightning connector ribbon from the logic board and the little golden tip black wire piece

I have already ordered a replacement lightning connector assembly hoping its that.

I have tooken it apart again and tried to reseat on the connectors but that didn't help

Just wondering if theres anyone else out there that has ran into this problem and maybe I put back a piece wrong or one of the little metal square pieces wrong

A grounding issue or something
