Why does my screen stay black?

dear fixers,

I recently got a Galaxy Tab S but the screen stays black.

I do feel vibrations and hear sounds from the machine.

The tablet hasnt fell or anything like that.

Anybody has experience with this problem, or can anybody tell me how to fix this myself?

Kind regards,

Soester

Most likely the ribbon cable for your screen might have come off the connection. My tablet is currently doing the same thing, so I am going to take it apart and check it out and try re-connecting it. I'll let you know how that goes.

So as I mentioned about the ribbon cable. I took it apart and disconnected and then reconnected the ribbon cables for the screen and powered it back on and works perfectly.

If the screen ribbon Cable doesn't fix it. Check the cable with 5 wires going to battery it's in the center in between the batteries. Disconnect it leave it off for 10 seconds reconnect it. Then power on while holding the volume button and then reboot normal.

It's some &&^&@@ up bug on this tablet which sucks because otherwise it's an amazing machine.
