I have my camera next to a goose neck lamp and tin tip ove and melt part of my case and fused the off and on switch. When can i get replacement parts for this camera?

You'd need to replace the whole top cover assembly. I've found that eBay is usually a good source for camera parts. If you're having a hard time finding a replacement, keep in mind that the Canon Rebel T5i is also called the Canon 700D. You can also try searching by the part number, though often times isn't always as helpful, at least when looking on eBay. The part number for the top cover assembly on this camera is CG2-4271.
