Why wont my iPhone turn on?

I have replaced the housing in my 5c and then I reassembled the phone. I had it open whilst i connect the screen components. So i thought id try and turn it on and make sure it was alright.

The screen came on but with two white lines, so in my infinite wisdom i pressed down upon the component shield and then since this it will not turn on. Even the back-light wont turn on, and the phone isn't on either. (It doesn't vibrate when i plug it into a charger even after 20 mins or make any noises.)

-I have tested the battery and its giving out about 4vdc.

-It won't go into DFU Mode

-It will not display ANYTHING.

Jake Anderson, since it actually started up before you pressed down on the connector, it sounds like you short circuited it. Remove the battery for sure. Then remove the board and check for any missing or damaged components. Reinstall with a new battery.
