Why does my phone not detect the touch screen?

Hello People,

So I have an iPhone 5s and the problem is that my screen works okay, but like the touch doesn't. Like there is on area where it doesn't work but the rest does. What can cause this problem? Can it be the the flex cables not connected correctly or can it be that my screen doesn't work? (The area where it doesn't work is in the bottom like about an 1 inch from the home button)

Somestimes it could be software. Because i encountered that and i checked everything ribboks were fine.

luisl0644, "there is on area where it doesn't work" is usually caused by a bad digitizer. Replace the front panel assembly to repair it. while you do so, you can always checked the flex and the connector. Ultimately, based on your described symptoms, it sounds to me like you need a replacement. Use these guides to help you out.
