Failed my first job.

I told my friends that I can fix their phones now that I got my tools and I have this site as a guide. One of my friends have me his HTC 510 for me to fix and everything was going great until I riped the first touch screen digitizer. But he forgave me and I bought a new one. Again everything was going fine until I re assembled everything and the screen is faulty. Great. 2 failures on 1 job. To make things worse I cracked the new screen trying to take it off and see why it wasn't working. What do I do now?

Varah, if at first you don't succeed......Replace the digitizer again. This time the cost for it should come out of your pocket. That is the problem with doing repairs. Happens quite often in the beginning (and later on as well). Pay attention to the guides, use a couple of different source and study those guides first. Then take your time and be organized when you do the actual repair.
