Screen replacement for nexus 5x
Is there anywhere where I can buy a new screen for the nexus 5x? I have only had it for a couple weeks and it already cracked.

I found two but if you wait a month there should be a lit more available due to the 5x being such a new device.

Would these be considered OEM versions of the screen and digitizer?

Have you ever drop your phone or do any other damage it? If not, your phone is so new and it is still in the warranty period that you could ask your phone retailer for a replacement. My husband attempted this, and to say the least, it didnt go very well! So in the end we ended up sending it to a repair company and they did a much better job of it! Heres the link incase anyone else has the same problem!

You can find screens now on Amazon, Ebay and Aliexpress. I used Amazon, the screen/frame combo took 2 weeks to arrive.
Please, take my advice: buy the glass together with the screen and the frame in one piece and also make sure the pack comes with the right tools, you absolutely need the prying tools. Yes, it's around 20-30$ more expensive but it will save your day. The screen, digitizer, glass and frame are all glued together. If you buy just the glass, your job is almost impossible. If you buy the screen and the glass, it's doable, but a PITA. If you buy the glass, screen and frame, it's a very easy job anyone can do it. There is no easy way to separate the digitizer and the display without damaging either of them. I'd recommend getting both the screen and digitizer for a much easier repair.
Since the Nexus 5X is a phone it will be hard to get the assemby (screen and digitizer assembly) on eBay or Amazon. As of writing this post there are probably a lot more random people having these assemblies. I recommend looking up the model number of the Nexus you have and searching "replacement lcd digitizer screen assembly for Nexus 5X" on eBay or Amazon or whatever you use and going from there. If I find anything reliable I'll link it on this post or another comment.
If don't want to do the work and have the money just give it to someone else to fix.

I cracked my screen too. I'm going through my credit card purchase assurance program but they need a written estimate on the repair. It's too new a phone - no one seems to be able to do provide this but I just need a ballpark to process the claim.

This screen on the Nexus5X completely sucks. My gf (5ft tall) dropped it while it was in her hand approximately 2 feet and the thing completely shattered. IT WAS THE 2ND DAY she had it. She says she's going back to Apple because Androids are complete $@$* now :/
I've had my Nexus 5 for over a year and have dropped it about 100 times. Screen is still in perfect condition. Nexus 5X build quality is just complete $@$*.

I got one at RepairsUniverse ($90) and AMEX reimbursed the entire price of the phone! Anyway, now I am trying to figure out how to put it on. I also could not find anyone locally that repaired this new phone.
