@knuckelhead the 400000 series should be a Intek V-twin
1. Place cylinder head gasket over alignment dowels on cylinder block.
2. Install cylinder head assembly. Torque head bolts in sequence shown to 220 in. lbs. (25 Nm).
Here is the diagram to show the pattern

Thanks for the info, it was very helpful.

Do you happen to know if this sequence will work for single cylinder?
@drunkmanlawn yes it will.
Can this torque been used of Flathead engine too, engine model ,type:10T502-0833B1, itd litle hopeless to find some true information of this engine...

me only The pattern for all types of torquing like heads, wheels, etc. use a kriss-cross pattern. Always torque the bolt opposite (or as close to opposite as possible) from your just tightened bolt.
Even better, is to torque the bolts in “steps of two”.
Fex if the spec says 50 ftlbs you first torque all bolts to 30 ftlbs in a kriss-cross pattern, then finalize it with 50 ftlbs in the same pattern. This makes for the safest tightening.
me only the 10T is a 100000 B&S model. Looks like the cylinder head torque for this one is 140 In/Lbs do not mistake for Ft/Lbs
Thanks fore answer 😁
Find some numbers to use in matematic of that after this message been send it.
140 in/lb ÷ 8.8 =15.9 Nm , and if you want in kgs you mutiplayed 15.9.with 10 = 1.59 kgs
