Why does my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 randomly restart?

Whenever I'm watching videos on my tablet, it will just randomly shut down and restart. Why is? It isn't every single time, but fair frequently and I have no idea why it does it. I've had it 6 months and also the battery is awful on it, it won't hold long, will drop extremely quick.

Please help.
