Powering off, blinking red lights

So a customer came to me with a ps4 that overheats, or just gets very hot. He says the fan isn't running. When powering on, he either gets a blue light, and it shuts off. Or, the red light flashes three times, and then it shuts off. Haven't worked on any ps4s yet. Any ideas, guys?
