Why won't device turn on?

I have my Garmin hooked up in my car but it won't turn on. I tried pressing the power button multiple times and unplugging it but it still won't work. How can I get it to turn on again?

Here are some possible reasons why your Nuvi won't turn on:

  • The power cable may not work.
  • Your vehicle isn't turned on.
  • Your car may be too hot or too cold.
  • You may need a replacement battery.
  • The USB Port may be faulty.

There are Some Common problems with solutions:

  • Destroy the Garmin USB drivers

Again download USB driver from trusted place

  •  Not compatible with .NET Framework

 If, you are using incompatible .NET framework then immediately update it with Framework.

  •  Make some mistakes while installing map on Garmin

 Download Garmin Map Update from reliable place

  •  Hardware failures

 Make sure, SD card set in proper place or not loose, and device batteries and motherboard are ok. Now conclusion that having hardware problems, immediately contact to manufacturer or retailer for replacement.
