2 Why is my device making a rattling/grinding sound?
When powered on, my laptop is making a grinding sound near the fan. What could be the source of this? The computer is fairly new.

The grinding sound could be caused by either your hard drive, or your cooling fan. If the cooling fan is not spinning and the sound is still happening, it is probably your hard drive. Please refer to the appropriate replacement guides to resolve this issue.
