Can I test an iPhone 5 screen on an iPhone 5S?
My partner dropped his phone and now the touchscreen doesn't work. I've pulled it apart to make sure the ribbons are connected well but it still won't work. The display is fine despite some light lines in the background. Before spending money buying a replacement screen I want to make sure that the screen is the issue. Can I take my iPhone 5 screen off and attach the ribbons to the 5S just to test the connectors? Or are they incompatible?
