My friend just got a new phone and was generous enough to give me his old one. It still has all of his custom settings, photos, contacts, etc. I am needing to know how to get all of this off of the phone so it will be like it has never had anything on it.

With the phone turned off.
press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button and then briefly press POWER button.
Press volume down to select FACTORY RESET option and then press POWER button to select.
All should be well.
ENSURE THE PHONE IS WELL CHARGED BEFORE RUNNING THROUGH THIS PROCEDURE.
