Repaired screen: stops working after 4 days

Hi,

I repaired a Moto G 3rd gen XT1451. It worked great for 4 days onwards, but then, the screen went very, very dark and suddenly completely black. I ordered a new screen (thinking the screen was faulty) but the new screen is also completely black. The phone vibrates when being plugged in and makes sound when disconnecting the charger.

What could have happened?

Maybe a backlight fuse slowly burnt out on the logic board?
