I bought the part on ebay for 2.99 including delivery. The old glass came out easily enough (with knife point dig gently under the black surround under the glass) and the whole thing pops out. The new one is self adhesive so just slotted straight in to the spot. It took less than five minutes.

The rear glass its glued on. Once you peel it off you can replace it (If you can find a replacement for it)

So the Rear Glass can be peeled of without opening the phone?
Yes, as long as you get a good grip on the glass. But keep your workstation dust free. the 16mp cam module inside your phone can malfunction if it gets dirty.
So has anyone had success in fixing the glass covering the cameras? I think I have the part. I'm just making sure how to put it on before I tear my phone apart.

Yes the hlass can be repalaced, the part you would need to buy is the back cover that comes with the camara lens already installed. Just the glass lens is not available yet, but check eBay

Brian is saying that the parts not available YET. The last word is the most important to focus on: YET. This is a new device still, and it often takes a few months for legitimate, quality parts to show up on suppliers pages or through ebay. However, it looks liike you would need to get inside the phone and replace the lenses with their frame, or a new phone frame, but not just the lens like on some Samsung devices or previous LG G models.

Yes, just the glass can be difficult to source, the best option is to replace the back cover that has the glass lens installed.

There is one listed on aliexpress (search for LG G5 rear camera glass), but I have no idea how genuine or reputable that seller is. It looks that's a batch of 5 for around $20. So if it works, maybe sell the other 4 on ebay for a profit :-)
