How to replace the glass cover
Brand new camera , the front glass broke cant it be repaired ie replaced relatively easily ?

My camera broke as well...
I pulled out the silver ring that surrounded the original broken glass (it is easy to remove using a small pliers), cleaned all the broken glass pieces and ordered a flat glass watch crystal diameter 29mm Thick 1mm on aliexpress
Once it arrives i believe I can glue all the parts together again, almost like the original camera.
(search for "flat glass watch crystal diameter 29mm thick 1mm" on aliexpress, costs less than 2 dollars)

you could replace the lens but I would not... Aligning lenses in a camera that is not ment for the lens to come out is VERY hard delicate work... I would just get a new camera, for me at least it is NOT worth the trouble...

Also if it's a brand new camera it may be under warranty still...
The lense is just fine it is the glass cover to protect the lense that is cracked

But the glass is not 29 mm! Thats the wrong size. 25 mm should work.

What is the correct size of the glass?
Hi Robert, 25 mm should work. I replaced the complete front by one from auction-house. Look for water-damaged cameras.

Any idea where to find a front cover ? I'd prefer change the front cover than the glass...

So you are saying the lense cover glass, the one right under the silver ring in the front, cannot be replaced if it cracks? That is just nuts. It is definitely not shockproof. First trip with it and it cracked. So this makes it a throw away or can I send it in to be fixed?

What did you do with the camera? I have the same issue and I'm hesitating to replace the front glass myself as I'm not sure the camera will be waterproof afterwards.
And I can't find a front cover anywhere...
