open your memory compartment at the back of your laptop...take off your old memory cards and replace with new memory card card with higher capacity... you can upgrade up to 2GB.

How do you upgrade to 4 GB, 8 GB, 64 GB etc?

That is most likely the amount the computer BIOS accept. This question is a bit old and not revisited to often. If you have a question, might as well ask a new one:)
