How to find IMEI internally?

Hey guys, my SIM tray is not stamped and iPhone is stuck in recovery mode, so I need to recover the IMEI inside the phone. Does anyone know which part of the phone actually contains the stamped #? Thanks!

Edit:

  1. No he does not have the IMEI printed on the sim card tray
  2. He can't turn the phone on as stated above.

I need to find it INTERNALLY. None of those methods are useful for me.

Then I guess you're out of luck unless you can somehow read from the Nand flash memory chips.

If you cannot see the IMEI, you could use the Serial to identify the device as well. Hopefully that'll help you and your cause. ;x
