Positive wire on battery has burn places in it.

Hope you have solved this by now but if not......
Is your car running OK
If it is not, do not drive it get an Auto electrician to look at it.
If it is, there is a lot of heat under that hood but it should not leave burn marks on any cables so go have it checked asap
