Pressing L3 causes Triangle to activate.

I've been playing GTA5 and COD a lot lately and when I press L3 to run, it changes my weapon. Sometimes in GTA, I don't press L3 but while I'm driving it will make me jump out the vehicle I'm in. Does anyone know what is causing L3 to trigger Triangle and how Can I fix this??
