Bottom Left Corner of Trackpad Sunken

Through some sort of blunt trauma in my bag, the bottom left corner of the trackpad (where left click would be on normal trackpad) has sunken into the body of the Macbook.

Although the click still works, it is a bit temperamental, and tap to click still works, although it has made click and drag difficult.

I am most worried about it eventually breaking from being in the wrong place in the body.

Is there any way of fixing this?

Here's the guide to working on your trackpad: MacBook Air 11" Mid 2011 Trackpad Replacement

It has most likely been pushed in a little and the edge is trapped under the lip. Use a #000 Phillips driver.

This is a very easy fix most of the time. Taking it to the Apple store is like going to the doctor for a hang nail.

You have to take out the battery and move the trackpad up. I would most likely have the apple store do it so you don't strip the screws on it. It fairly simple to do and would fix the problem fast. Its a issue with the metal plates that hold it in shifting from the blunt force.

Does this work for surface go keyboard cover? Sometimes when I click, it gets sunken in and it doesn’t stop clicking and when I move the mouse it registers as a click and drag and I have to bend upwards my keyboard for it to stop or put my nail around the trackpad and push it up. How can I fix it
