Touch Screen acting on its own after screen replacement.
I own a local repair shop and this dreaded issue is back! The ipad mini 1,2 had this issue of the ipad touch screen acting crazy on its own as if someone was opening and closing apps. A simple solution solved that issue with Kapton tape.
This solution was applied to the ipad mini 3 screen but does not solve the crazy/acting on its own touch screen issue.
Does anyone know a solution to this issue. I've tried everything. Kapton tape on the lower section of the screen covering both home button cable and coving the the outside of the inside edge of the touch sensor. no aid.
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
Have you tried putting Kapton tape around the edges as shown on the arrow but instead around the whole thing (probably over kill but might be worth a try.

Did you check the connectors for the digitizer? I would clean both ends of the connection and try again.

Yes, we do micro soldering so we have see when the connector pins get pulled out. The issue is we have seen this on many iPad mini 3's not just one repair we have done. Almost all the ipad mini 3's we repair test working then we get an email or call from a customer stating the touch screen is going crazy.
