Things to do with an old router?
Hello,
I just got an old router (Linksys WRT54G v5) and I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone know what to do with this?

Hi! One example of a thing you can do with your router is make it into a network extender. This will give a better internet connection around your house/business. Alternatively you can take it apart and write a teardown article here on Ifixit!

contact your local ham radio club by google. give it to them. Hams have developed an OS for these that allows them to create a mesh network over large distances using ham radio. you can do it unless you get a ham radio license but your local club can. or contact them if you want to get a FCC license and try it your self.
