Control Arms Ground out Engine

Toro Timecutter ss5060 Model #74632. Last week mid-cut my engine choked out, now the engine starts just fine and will run all day, but when I engage the control arms it chokes out (once in a great while it won't choke out at first but 30-60 seconds later it will).

I tested connectivity on both arm switches, seat switch and PTO switch (which does not kill engine when engaged). I charged battery, checked oil level, cleaned air filter, looked for frayed wires. This model has electric parking brake system and releases with the control arms.
