No service and says no SIM card

Everytime I turn my phone on it will say that I don't have service and that there is no SIM card detected and there is. How can I fix it or what do I need to do to fix it?

Your SIM card may be damaged or defective.The easiest and best next thing to do would be to ask your wireless carrier for a new SIM card. They are usually free. I hope you get it working. Good luck!

We have sold Blu Phones for about 18 months, following 12 years of selling Nokia, Blackberry, Motorola, Sony, LG, Samsung, and Apple. When a customer asks me for the cheapest smartphone option I quickly show them the $85, $99, and $149 Blu options. Before I continue detailing the Blu phones, I always pause, mention the $149 Moto G, and wait for the inevitable question from the customer: "Which do you think is more reliable?"

My answer is always the honest one. I have never had a customer return a defective Motorola Moto G - ever. I general, defect rates across all our phone brands hover around 1%. Our Blu phones (3-5 models at any one time) have an average 5% defect rate. Half of those returned come back with bad SIM card readers, which is a component soldered to the motherboard during manufacturing.

They are not bad phones, and you can get some good features for the price, but never consider them to be as reliable as the classic brands.

I dropped my phone and both sim bays quit reading the sims. So I believe that the sim module has become detached from the mother board, how to fix is another story. It was a great phone up to that point. Can Mother board replacements be got for this phone?

I checked witH Pc Richard and they told me Card is fine before calling Blu Blu asked me to withdraw my SIM card for Imea # which I did .put it back as it was then saw on my screen Insert sim which was inserted so withe the Blu person on my there phone she told me to take it out put it back we did it 3 times never worked . told me to call my provider Simple mobile to check why the service was unavailable ..Billing was ok no problem told me to take of the SIM card again ( which will be the 7 th time since Pc Richard visit) it did not work so I ask him what to do buy and other SIM card and I questioned if I buy a new card an problem not solved It si my phone? and what about the san disk 32 gb card ??

I had this problem as well when I was first trying to setup my phone. I would insert my SIM Card and it would say NO SIM. Talk about getting frustrated!! THEN I was trying to troubleshoot the problem myself and realized that my SIM Card was a NANO SIM (which just means that it is smaller than the typical SIM Card) so I contacted my carrier and they have this small little carrier for the Nano SIM Cards and once I inserted it back into my phone IT WORKED!!!! I was ever so happy because I thought I was SOL with my new phone.
