there is no contact betweebattery and charger

My iPhone 4s has been dropped in water and it turn on the camera light when i unscrew it i dry it with spirit and i connect

it develops a problem of heat on the camera connector area i try to light the light it immediately cut off [the battery was at 76 percent] trying to switch on nothing happened so i put it on the charger it turn on the apple sign and off like there is no battery loops on and of i tried to replace the battery but still the same please help me thank u
