Why won't my drill change speed?

My drill is struck on the lowest speed. The switch moves if I push hard but it doesn't change the speed at all? Why is this?

It may be an issue with the switch connection. You can open up the drill and check if there is anything obstructing the switch movement. If you need to repair it here is a guide.
