2003 echo
I need to replace my 02 sensor, the mechanic took mine out and said I needed to go buy a new sensor. I was told that there are 2 different types of 02 sensors, a 3 wire and a 4 wire sensor.
4 cylinder, 5 speed, 4 door, automatic.

Your local parts store should know. Your mechanic took it out, what did he do with it? He knows which one it is. Ask for your part back or look.

mayer, question for you, who decides chosen solution to an answer and why would some one choose some ones question as the chosen solution/accepted answer when I was the only one that posted an answer. I have noticed this a few times. example of what I am mentioning in link below. Thanks for your response in advance.
