Windshield wiper arm not attached

@troubleincali , Your BMW's wiper arm should be held on by a retaining nut, usually found under the plastic wiper arm trim cover. Your arm may be broken at the hinge in this case you will have to get a replacement. If it did indeed come loose and fell off you will have to find a correct nut to replace the one that has fallen off. If it is just a loose arm, remove the wiper arms trim cover, properly position the arm on windshield and retighten the nut snugly, put trim cover back in place. You may have to get the nut if lost from the dealer to ensure you get proper size and locking knurls on base of nut.
