I hooked my macbook core 2 duo up to a sound board and didn't realize the phantom power was one. It in turn zapped the chip, a transistor, something.....has anyone else had this problem or fixed it? My speakers still work fine, just fuzz and popping comes out the 1/8" output.

That port is integrated into the logic board and no way to replace it without a logic board switch.
