My 89 Chevy S10 pickup trucks brake warning lamp is flashing ten times I did the jumping of the terminals and got the same thing it is the brake light switch circuit what things should I try to replace to fix this problem

Check your ABS if you have one, the box might unhook. Q Are the brakes working fine?
And the wheel speed sensor is one problem i see everywhere, ABS is important too. Tell me what you find.
Try this; First with the truck off and in park on a level ground release the ebrake and turn the key to run does the light come on for two seconds then remail light?
