clicks but only turns over sometimes
I drive a 91 Honda accord dx and I have replaced my starter about 6 months ago and I took it out to have it tested and everything passed. When I turned the key it would click so I would keep turning it because if I did it enough sometimes it would try to turn over and then stop and sometimes it would start but rarely. I have to compression start my car to get it started 98% of the time. Just wondering what it would be. I don't want to have to check all the switches and wirings just to find out it was the last thing I tried.
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
Hi,
Try connecting another car's battery to your car's battery (battery jumper cables) and see if your car starts OK? (do not have the other car's engine running when you do this also do not flatten the other car's battery either if it doesn't start after two or three attempts stop and remove the cables, cables are +ve to +ve and -ve to -ve between the two batteries)
If it does then perhaps you need to get the battery checked? Also have you ensured that the battery cables are securely fastened and not loose?

My battery is brand new and I have a radar detector that tells me the exact voltage as soon as i turn the key to aux. I have even tried jumping it thinking it was the battery and nothing happened
