Restore iPad to factory settings

I can't get into my iPad as I've forgotten the password.

I need to completely restore it, but the Home button is broken.

Is there a program which will restart it so that I can get into Restore mode?

There is a program called RecBoot which is free and can put your device into recovery mode and can boot it out of recovery mode in the event it gets stuck in recovery mode,,

Just search for the program and youll find it quick enough
