Eric Fields , I assume you are asking about the long thin feed/load spring which usually connects to a small tab on the staplers upper slide housing and to a tab on the slide. The links below should help you out in seeing spring mounting locations. On the guide link once you have opened it you can zoom in on where the spring is attached. Good luck.
