When I turn on the camera, the display shows horizontal bars like the ones you see while taking snaps of a CRT monitor or Television set. what is the problem,how to fix?

Most CRT monitors don't play well with cameras. This is due to the refresh rate. Very few CRT's work well with CRT's because many of them are limited to 60/85Hz. Your phone is not damaged. You don't have to worry about any sort of hardware defect or repair to your phone.
This is more of a problem with cheaper CRT's then professional ones. It will still happen on something like a GDM-FW900 but not to the same degree since the GDM-FW900 supports higher refresh rates.
