here are the guides for the kindle paperwhite 3rd gen tablets. this doesn't say exactly how to replace the charging port but it do do the motherboard. looking at this guide you can figure out where the connections are for the papaerwhite and replacing something like the charging port would require some soldering i think. I hope that this helps and you are able to charge your device soon
